After the Flying Comes the Kite Care! 🪁

Image
A little rain doesn't stop us from enjoying a day of flying! 🪁 Even when the weather isn't perfect, there's nothing quite like being out there together, sharing our passion for kites. But when the flying is done, there's one more important part of our hobby: taking care of our kites! 💙 After a day of flying in light rain, we took some time to rinse our four-line kites and flying lines with clean water. A little care now helps keep our equipment in good condition for many more flying adventures! 🪁 Our KiteOn kite care tips 💧 1. A Great Day at the Zeebrugge Kite Meeting 🪁

Image
Today, we headed back to the kite meeting in Zeebrugge, organised by https://www.tweelijner.be . It was the perfect opportunity to test our new fish kite and to fly our swallows together with the big swallow. And it was a success! 😁 The swallows flew beautifully alongside their bigger companion. Great work by Tony! 💙🪁 Of course, the dual-line kites were out in force too! There was plenty to see in the sky, with lots of different kites sharing the wind. But Tony and I couldn't resist taking our quad-line kites out for a flight as well. After all, quad-line flying always has a special place in our hearts! It was a lovely day with a great variety of kites, plenty of flying and, above all, the fun and friendly atmosphere that makes these meetings so enjoyable. We ended the day with a delicious coffee at the bistro, taking a moment to relax and enjoy the memories of another wonderful day together. ☕ Pictures tweelijner.be Another beautiful day added to our KiteOn adventures!

Today at the Workbench, Soon Together in the Sky  Today, Sunday, October 11, kite flyers around the world celebrate One Sky One World, a special day dedicated to peace, friendship and connection through the wonderful hobby of kite flying. https://oneskyoneworld.eu/nl/ For us at KiteOn, this is a special day too. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go out and fly our kites this year due to health reasons. Sometimes, things don’t go as planned, and we have to listen to what our bodies need. But that doesn’t mean our passion for kites has to stay grounded! ❤️ A New Project Takes Shape While our kites stayed on the ground today, Tony certainly didn’t sit still! He took the time to cut the Icarex fabric for our latest project: two delta kites that we’ll be flying together soon! 😍 A new project, new plans and plenty of excitement for what’s to come! Because at KiteOn, it’s not just about the moment a kite takes to the sky. Designing, preparing, building and dreaming about our next flying adventu...
