Upcoming and past events

Here you can find the kite events we are planning to attend in the coming months.

We love discovering new events, meeting fellow kite flyers and, of course, spending time together on the flying field or beach. Whether it’s a kite festival, a quad-line meeting, team flying or a demonstration, there is always something to look forward to!

Of course, kite flying is very much dependent on the conditions. Weather, wind and safety always come first. Our plans may therefore change depending on the conditions on the day.

We’ll keep this page updated as new events are added to our calendar. Maybe we’ll see you at one of them! 🪁

Welcome to KiteOn

Image
We are two passionate amateur kite flyers who simply love being outdoors and enjoying the wind.  Whether we're flying colourful single-line display kites , dual-line sport kites , or quad-line kites , every session brings fun, relaxation and a new challenge. For us, kite flying is much more than a hobby. It's a way to step away from everyday life, spend quality time together and appreciate nature. It also helps us stay positive when life becomes challenging, giving us a healthy distraction and a chance to focus on the moment instead of our worries. On this website, we share our adventures, photos, videos, equipment, tips and the events we visit. We're not experts—just two enthusiasts who enjoy learning, flying and meeting fellow kite lovers along the way. Thanks for stopping by, and we hope our passion inspires you to get outside, catch the wind and enjoy the amazing world of kites. Keep the wind in your lines... Keep KiteOn! Tony-Marieke

Zeebrugge-dual line kites

Pr ism hypnotist Fire In the summer of 2025, we headed to Zeebrugge, where a monthly kite gathering takes place, organised through  https://www.tweelijner.be/ We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt very comfortable among the other kite flyers. At that time, we didn’t have much experience with performing tricks with a Dual-Line kite. Luckily, we quickly received lots of advice and useful tips, for which we are incredibly grateful. We learned not only more about the tricks themselves, but also about which equipment would be better for us to buy in the future and which lines would be most suitable. We were amazed by how quickly and effortlessly the experienced flyers performed their tricks. 😍 It all looked so easy… but we now realise how much practice, feeling and technique is involved. We still have a lot to learn! 😉 Our main focus is currently on Quad-Line flying. That is where we want to continue developing our skills and gaining more experience. But we definitely want ...

Meet Fenix Pair 🪁❤️ Photo credit: HLN Our first digital contact with Fenix Pair. Ingeborg & Stephan was during the kite festival in Berck-sur-Mer. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them a little better. What a lovely couple they are! So warm, friendly, enthusiastic and always willing to share tips and experiences. We really appreciate how helpful they are and how much we can learn from them. It’s great to meet people who share the same passion and who are so generous with their knowledge. 🪁❤️ And of course… they are not only wonderful people, they are also fantastic kite flyers! 🤩 Fenix Pair have already achieved some fantastic results and won several prizes, including a podium finish at the European Championships. Their teamwork, dedication and beautiful flying are truly impressive. They really show how far you can go when you work together as a team! 🏆🪁 We’re very happy that our paths crossed in the kite world and that we’re getting to know them better. I...
